About
My name is Jason Weyl I am co-founder-Vice President and program director of WHNGA.COM. I bring several years of radio and television broadcasting experience to Georgia’s first Wi-Fi worldwide radio station. I started my broadcast career as a co-host of a classic country radio show in middle Georgia back in 1997. My next radio venture was in 2003 working for Cumulus broadcasting as a weekend DJ and board operator for syndicated programming. I left in 2005 to pursue television and acquired a position at a Raycom media station learning every aspect of television production.
Linda and I have always had a deep passion for broadcasting. Many times we have attempted to acquire a terrestrial broadcast station, but God had bigger plans for both of us. In 2006 Linda was diagnosed with a brain aneurism and needed to surgery to save her life! I was devastated and thought she might not make it. I constantly prayed and visited her in the hospital hoping for a swift recovery. Through prayer and hope Linda has overcome this obstacle and started her own foundation to promote “brainograms” through bahelp.com.
WHNGA.COM is a non-profit radio station informing people about everything happening in Georgia. In fact the domain name stands for “what’s happening in Georgia” (WHNGA). This station will promote “brainograms” across the world and save lives not only to prevent aneurisms, but any brain abnormality. I believe that Linda, Wyman and I will succeed in opening the door for routine angiograms or “brainograms” during typical medical checkups for everyone!
I have enjoyed many social activities in life such as being an accomplished billiard player throughout my teenage years as well as having a strong passion for martial arts. I currently hold a 1st degree black belt in the Korean martial art of Taekwondo and have learned through perseverance that we can all achieve our goals in life. I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of such a great station and I wish to serve the public well through this new media outlet.
Sincerely,
Jason Weyl
Vice-President
